The transitioning of the ISO 45001:

ISO 45001 was proposed in October 2013 with further preparation and committee work extending to December 2015. In 2017, the first draft failed to gain approval from ISO members, however, in 2018, the standard gained approval and was published on the 12th of March, 2018 replacing BS OHSAS 18001. Organizations with the pre-existing standard, OHSAS, are expected to have migrated to ISO 45001:2018.
