What is the current PMP® exam format?
Since 9 July 2026, the PMP® exam has used a re-balanced domain weighting (People 33%, Process 41%, Business Environment 26%), scenario-based, graphic, matching and point-and-click question types, alignment to the 2026 PMP® Exam Content Outline, and integrated AI and sustainability topics.
What are the PMP eligibility requirements?
You need one of two paths: a secondary credential (high school diploma or global equivalent) plus at least 5 years (60 months) of project-leadership experience within the past 8 years; or a bachelor's degree (or global equivalent) plus at least 3 years (36 months) of project-leadership experience within the past 8 years. Both paths also require 35 hours of project management education. Always check PMI's current PMP Handbook, as exact experience-hour thresholds are periodically updated.
Do I need to train with a PMI Authorized Training Partner?
From 1 December 2026, PMI will require that live, instructor-led PMP training hours be delivered by a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP). Self-paced training from any provider still counts toward the 35 hours. Training completed before 1 December 2026 remains eligible under current requirements. 3FOLD is a PMI Authorized Training Partner, so live training with us stays valid now and after the change.
How is the PMP exam structured?
The exam has 180 questions (170 scored, 10 unscored pretest items) delivered over 4 hours (240 minutes) with two 10-minute breaks (optional). You can sit it at a Pearson VUE test center or via online proctoring, and you may retake it up to three times within one year.
How much does 3FOLD's PMP training cost?
3FOLD's 35-hour live online PMP training is USD 390 (AED 1,433), inclusive of VAT. The official PMI application and exam fee is billed separately by PMI and varies by membership status and country.
How do I maintain my PMP certification after passing?
The PMP is valid for three years. To renew, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) within each three-year cycle by learning, teaching, presenting, reading, volunteering or creating content — reported through PMI's CCRS system.
Is PMP training available online?
Yes. 3FOLD delivers PMP training as live, instructor-led virtual classroom sessions on weekends, with 1 Year access to learning resources, practice questions and study materials so you can revise on your own schedule.
How long does it take to become PMP certified with 3FOLD?
