Are you preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam and wondering about the policies at the test center? Knowing the rules of your test center is very significant that will make your attempt successful. In this piece, we shall break down PMP Exam Test Center Policies into clear bullet points that will help you understand these policies’ advantages and conditions more easily.
Admission Policy:
-
- Ensure that you arrive at the test center 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This extra time allows for all necessary sign-in procedures.
- Remember, being late for an appointment by more than 15 minutes may lead to refusal of admission, and unfortunately, forfeiting of examination fees.
- You must carry valid government-issued identification with a photograph and signature. Make sure that the first name and surname on your identity document precisely match what was given during registration.
- In case your ID is issued by another country from where you are testing, obtain International Travel Passport from your country of citizenship. For any inquiries or concerns regarding ID requirements, contact Pearson VUE Customer Service. You can find the complete ID policy at Pearson VUE ID Policy.
Reschedule Policy:
-
- If you want to change the date/time of your exams, contact Pearson VUE or access My Account section in Pearson VUE website not less than 48 hours prior to the planned time. It is possible to reschedule within this period.
- Failure to reschedule prior to due date or failure to show up at all will result in forfeiture of examination fee charged.
- Note that there is a $70 charge associated with changes made within a 30-day period prior to an exam. You can find more details in your exam handbook.
Cancellation Policy:
-
- Cancellation should be done through contacting either Pearsons Vue or via online pearson vue account on their website not later than forty-eight hours before actual exam day since it’s still permissible during such time frame.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments will result in forfeiture of examination fee.
- Just as it was with rescheduling, cancellation with 30 days of the test date is charged a $70. Refer to your exam handbook for additional information.
Additional Information:
-
- The duration of your “appointment length” may include non-scored sections like surveys or tutorials. It is important to note that this duration may not equal to the total time available for the actual exam.
