PMP Exam Policy
The PMP Exam Policy is a guide designed by the Project Management Institute for PMP aspirants. The proper preparation for taking the PMP Examination is not the only thing to consider in obtaining a PMP Certification. It is important to know the guidelines for PMP Exam so that you can plan accordingly. PMP Exam Admission Policy
Rule 1: You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time at the test center. This will allow you to complete the appropriate sign-in procedures in a timely manner. Else, your entry may be denied and your exam fees forfeited if you arrive 15 minutes late to your PMP Exam appointment.
Rule 2: You must provide one form of original (no photocopies), legitimate (unexpired) government-issued identification that includes your name, photo, and signature. The first and last names on your registration form must exactly match the first and last names on the ID you present on test day.
Rule 3: All relevant identification must be issued by the nation in which you will be testing. If you don’t have a qualifying ID from the country you’re testing in, you’ll need an International Travel Passport from your home country.

Rule 4: Personal items are not allowed to bring to the examination room. This includes all bags, books not authorized by the sponsor, notes, phones, pagers, watches, and wallets.
PMP Exam Reschedule Policy

- To reschedule your exam, you must contact Pearson VUE or log into your online Pearson VUE account at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
- Exams cannot be rescheduled if you cancel less than 48 hours before your planned appointment.
- Your exam fee will be forfeited if you do not reschedule in a timely manner or do not show up for your appointment.
- You will be charged a cost of US$70 if you reschedule your exam within 30 days of your original appointment.

PMP Exam Cancellation Policy
Reach out to Pearson VUE to cancel your exam at least a minimum of 48 hours prior to your PMP Examination appointment, else you are not permitted to cancel the exam less than 48 hours prior to your PMP exam appointment. You will lose your exam fee if you don’t cancel in a timely manner or don’t show up for your appointment.
If you cancel your exam within 30 days of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a fee of $70.
Note: Emailing the exam delivery vendor or PMI to reschedule or cancel your examination appointment is not a permitted method of communication. If you’re having trouble connecting to the internet or rescheduling or canceling your exam online, contact the vendor directly to postpone or cancel your appointment.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your exam, the testing center is not advisable to contact.

PMP Exam No-Show Status Policy
A no-show status will be applied if you do not notify the exam delivery vendor or PMI within the prescribed time frames to reschedule or cancel your exam, or if you do not show up for your scheduled examination appointment.
If you are a no-show, you will lose your PMP exam fee and will be required to pay the entire reexamination price in order to arrange another PMP exam.
