PMI sends you notifications and will update your dashboard on your PMI account. PMI will send you an email with the subject of Notification of Application Audit Outcome – PMI ID # – Application ID #
8. Is there a requirement for the audit? If yes, how much time is required to submit it?
Candidates have approximately 90 days to complete and submit their audit documents.
9. What happens if the delegate chooses to not participate in the audit process?
The candidate has one year to reapply if they are unable to complete the audit or are unwilling to follow the rules. But due to non-conformance, the audit is regarded as having failed. If he decides to reapply, he has to submit a new certification application and payment is both required. But the application will still be subject to another audit.
10. How to submit the audit requirements?
The auditing procedure is now fully digitalized. Before now, the applicant is required to send their details through a courier. The delivery of paper documents to PMI has ceased. The new process involves uploading the necessary documents through the delegates’ dashboard @myPMI dashboard. Candidates can access the “Access Audit Package” option and upload the required documents.

11. Can I download my Exam Application form while my PMP Exam Application is under audit?
No, you can not. A completed audit package cannot be accessed by candidates. After submitting, if they try to choose “Access Audit Package,” they will be taken to a landing page notifying them that the audit has been submitted. You can only see it again once you pass the audit.
12. How long does the auditing procedure take?
Within 5 to 7 business days of receiving audit materials, the certification audit team processes them.
13. What is next after you pass the audit?
After PMI has examined and approved the audit materials, PMI will ask you to proceed with your examination fees. They will update your dashboard.
14. What happens if you fail the PMI Audit?
Additional actions will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the Certification Department. PMI will send you their recommendations.
15. Why did the PMP Exam Application Audit fail?
The PMP aspirant may lack the necessary training or credentials, or they did not pass the project or training verification, or the details on the exam application did not match the documents submitted.
