Joining IRCA grade membership is an exceptionally easy process. You need to first identify the appropriate grade for you. In order to apply for CQI IRCA Auditor Grade membership, you have to have successfully completed a CQI IRCA certified training course from an ATP of CQI IRCA.

CQI IRCA does not accept the certificate of attendance, so please make sure you have a certificate of achievement before applying for the auditor grade membership.

 

IRCA Auditor Grade Membership:

The Chartered Quality Institute & the International Register of Certificated Auditors (CQI IRCA) has 5 auditor grades namely:

1. Associate Auditor: If you have completed the CQI IRCA Certified Training course but don’t have auditing experience, you can still apply for the associate auditor grade membership.

2. Internal Auditor: A person who is conducting internal audits or supplier management audits of his own organization, but is not a full-time auditor can apply for internal auditor grade membership.

3. Auditor: This grade is suitable for a person who is conducting a first party, second party, and third party audit of an organization either as a member of a team or an individual auditor.

4. Lead Auditor: A person who is capable of conducting a full system audit, and has to experience in leading a team can apply for lead auditor grade membership. 

5. Principal Auditor: This grade is suitable for those who have huge experience in conducting audits but no longer audit regularly, instead, training consultancy or freelancer auditors can apply for principal auditor grade membership. 

Relevant auditing experience is also required to apply for the IRCA Auditor Grade Membership. (Please note for each grade there are different criteria). How to apply for CQI IRCA Auditor Grade Membership

These are the steps to follow to apply for CQI IRCA Grade Membership:

  • Click on IRCA Membership, then on become a certified IRCA Member.
  • The third step is to click on IRCA Grades.
  • When you click on IRCA Grades the page will open stating the name of all auditor grades and how to apply, press the click here button to understand what are the requirements of each auditor grade and how to apply. For more clarity please refer to figure no. 1

• • If you are not sure about which grade membership is best for you? Don’t worry, just take the IRCA grades quiz to find out for which Grade you may be eligible. For more clarity please refer to figure no. 2

• • When you click on the “click here button” to apply for auditor grade which is best suited for you, it will take you to the page where it informs you of the required learning and auditing experience. After scrolling down, you will see “apply online” to join IRCA. For example, if you are looking to join lead auditor grade you will see the joining button like mentioned in figure no. 3

• • After clicking on the “click here” button, it will take you to the Sign-in or Join now page. If you already have an account, fill in your login details, and if not click on ‘join now’ and fill in the required information to create your account.
  • Submit the required documents like your CQI IRCA certified course completion certificate, your audit logs, training records, etc.
  • After this, fees must be paid. There are two fees to be paid for a new applicant: application fees and annual fees. Finally, you need to enter your country, press the ‘‘find’’ button, and the fee structure for each grade will be displayed. (IRCA fees may change according to your country)

Note: CQI IRCA will verify your all documents, after they will review your application, entrenched your grade and you have paid your annual fees, they will send you your IRCA Auditor Card.
