There are two key elements to ensuring success:

1. Ensure honesty: Honesty is important. It’s imperative to be truthful about all aspects of your education, training, project details, and identity. Ensuring that there are no falsifications and that the information aligns with the certificates you possess and the projects you did.

2. Proper coordination:

• • Before submitting, seek guidance from your training provider about the exam application. Discuss about your project work experience to get appropriate advice. Before you fil up the form, you may provide a draft of your project details. You may also ask for assistance in filling up the form, and prior submission, let your training coordinator/consultant review the details in the form to ensure all PMI-required project details are provided.

You will be receiving a notification:

After submitting your PMP exam application, you may receive a notification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) informing you that your application has been selected for audit. This notification usually comes as soon as you have submitted your application. It will be updated on your dashboard:

What are the audit packages? 

The following is a list of documents or requirements to provide.

i) Copy of your diploma(s) or degree(s).
ii) Copy of certificates for project management professional training.
iii) Provide the name and email address of the person you are reporting to in order to validate your project management experience.

The next thing to do is fill up the form:

Open your package audit in your PMI dashboard and upload all those. PMI will provide audit forms or templates for you to complete. Fill out these forms accurately.

After filling up the form and uploading the requirements, click submit. The PMI will send the request to your references.

The PMI sends a PDF copy of your exam application and a verification letter. Wait for the reference to respond to the PMI email. You might be wondering, what does PMI send to your reference?

Verification Process: Let us assume that all requirements were submitted. The PMI will scrutinize your audit materials to confirm the accuracy of your project management experience and education. This process typically lasts five days, so please be patient.

Receive Approval and Make Payment: Upon approval, PMI will update your dashboard with the payment button. Proceed with the payment to continue.

Schedule Exam: After receiving your eligibility letter, schedule your PMP exam either at a Pearson VUE testing center or from the comfort of your home.

Remember, in this audit, you have 90 days to complete the requirements.
