Eligibility Requirements for PMP Certification

1. Education:

To make good decisions, a Project Manager must be able to read, write, produce reports, establish plans, and understand new concepts.

A four-year degree (or global equivalent) or a secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or global equivalent) are required for PMP certification. This can be in any field.

A Project Manager is in charge of getting a project off ground. They are also responsible for project planning, design, implementation, monitoring, control, and closure. A PMP must be aware of his or her responsibilities and has management and leadership abilities.

A secondary degree holder must have at least 7,500 hours of experience leading and directing projects to be eligible for the PMP. With only 4,500 hours of experience in leading and directing projects, a four-year degree holder can become eligible.

2. Training:
