Introduction:
Professionals that meet the eligibility criteria for the PMP certification are strongly advised to take the PMP Exam Prep course and apply for the PMP exam. Doing this will give them the opportunity of attaining the world’s best globally recognized certification in project management, and becoming certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Eligibility criteria for the PMP certification exist for two reasons. (a) The PMP certification offered by PMI is a prominent certification that must be taken by professionals who understand its usefulness, (b) Project Management necessitates a sound theoretical foundation as well as a comprehension of its procedures.
As little more than a result, before applying for the PMP examination, one must ensure that they know the eligibility criteria for the PMP certification and meet the PMP exam’s prerequisites.
What is PMP certification?
PMP stands for Project Management Professional, and it is a qualification awarded by PMI, the Project Management Institute. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria for the PMP certification and then successfully pass the PMP examination are awarded the Project Management Professional certification. It is important to remember that once you acquire your PMP certification, it is only valid for a certain amount of time. PMP certification holders must obtain 60 PMP PDUs and begin the PMP renewal process every three years.
The PMP certification is the most widely recognized professional credential for managers worldwide. When looking for project management positions, many organizations look for PMP certification. In addition, when promoting current staff to project management positions, they require PMP certification. According to a recent survey, PMP certification holders earn 20% more than their non-certified peers.

To make good decisions, a Project Manager must be able to read, write, produce reports, establish plans, and understand new concepts.
A four-year degree (or global equivalent) or a secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or global equivalent) are required for PMP certification. This can be in any field.
A Project Manager is in charge of getting a project off ground. They are also responsible for project planning, design, implementation, monitoring, control, and closure. A PMP must be aware of his or her responsibilities and has management and leadership abilities.
A secondary degree holder must have at least 7,500 hours of experience leading and directing projects to be eligible for the PMP. With only 4,500 hours of experience in leading and directing projects, a four-year degree holder can become eligible.
