Certified Cost Professional (CCP®) Exam Preparation
The Certified Cost Professional online training course at 3FOLD Education Centre provides detailed coursework of cost management, based on the Skills and Knowledge of cost engineering that is published by AACE International. There are 4 key modules to the course, which include cost estimation and control, project management, basic cost engineering, and engineering economics. The certified cost professional course also includes a basic overview of Total Cost Management framework that is published by AACE International. Upon completion of this course, students will have the technical knowledge and expertise to be certified cost engineers and to apply good practices and principles in terms of total cost management to execute and manage organizational programs and projects.

CCP® Certification Guide
The CCP Certification will demonstrate that you are a Certified Cost Professional that has the skill, experience, and knowledge necessary to make a positive impact on revenues for your organization.
A Certified Cost Professional is an experienced expert who has advanced technical expertise and knowledge to communicate and apply the best practices and principles of Total Cost Management when planning, executing, or managing organizational programs or projects.
To take the CCP exam, students must have one of the following. Students should only apply for this preparation course once they meet one of the following requirements.
- A High School Diploma with at least 8 years of work experience.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, in addition to 4 years of work experience.
All necessary documents pertaining to your education and experience must be submitted to AACE International when applying to take the CCP Exam. For additional information, see the CCP Certification checklist.
To apply for the CCP Exam, you must do the following:
- Complete the Registration Process with AACE International
- Apply for Membership with AACEI
- Complete the Online CCP Exam Application and Submit the Form
- Submit Experience Certificates, Educational Certificates, and the Technical Paper Requirement email@example.com in Word Format
After the above requirements have been met, AACE International will review your submissions before notifying you of any additional requirements.
The CCP Examination has 2 components. Participants must pass with an overall score of 70% to receive certification. The two components are as follows:
- Multiple Choice Exam
- Technical Paper (2,500 Words)
Those holding CCP Certifications are required to recertify every 3 years from the date listed on their initial certification. To be eligible for recertification, certification holders must have at least 15 recertification units over a 3 year period..
